Thrust ball bearings

Feature:

  This type of bearings is separable and the contact angle is 90 degree.So the bearings can only carry axial load. While the bearings runing, the balls are extruded to the outside of raceway by centrifugal effect and easy to be scraped. So this typy of bearing can not be used under the high speeds condition.

The single direction bearings of them can only carry axial load in one direction, while the double can carry alternating axial load in either direction.

And the trust ball bearings with spherical outer ring have self-aligning functions.

In double-direction angular contact thrust ball bearings, the contact angle is 60 degree. they can take axial load forn double-directions and the unit load form axial and radial drection. Furthermore, the bearings have a capacity of axial space limiting,and also do a little to the radial space limiting.

CAGES:

Pressed steel and machined brass cages are commonly used.

APPLICATIONS:

The thrust ball bearings are used in lathe centers, automobile clutches, reducers and so on.

Thrust Roller Bearings:

Cylindrical roller thrust bearing:

This type of bearing is separable and can carry heavy axial loads. They are single directions bearings and can only accommodate axial load in one direction.They can’t limit the dispalcement in radial. They are stiff and insensitive to shock loads, and they require little space. Their main use is in applications where the load carrying capacity of thrust ball bearing is inadequate and the speeds requirement is low.

The leaning of the shaft is forbidden when the beaings are used.

Cage:

Machine brass caged are gennerally used.

APPLICATIONS:

The bearings are suitable for oil drilling machine, metal producing equpiment, etc.

Spherical roller thrust bearings

features :

This type of bearings is separable. The spherically formed outer ring raceway can make selfalignment. There fore ,if there is deflection of the shaft,it is automatically corrected.There is an angle between the working line of load and the center line of shaft.Then bearings can take not only greatly radial load but also some axial loads in either direction. They have excellentload-carrying capacity and are suitable for use where there are heavy or impact loads, such as waterpower, upright style electromotor ect.

Before using they have to be preloaded.

Cage:

Pressed steel cages and machined brass cages are used

APPLICATIONS:

waterpower,upside style electromotor,screw propeller shafe used in watercraft,swiveling working table of machine tool,decelerator andmoudling machine used in rolling mill.

Thrust Taper Roller Bearings:

The tapered rollers (with larger spherial end) of these bearings are guided precisely by the integral flanges of the washers (shaft washer and housing washer) with raceways.

APPLICATIONS:

In cran hooks and roating platform for oil drillings.
